The Joan and Ralph Lane Center for Catholic Studies and Social Justice at the University of San Francisco is inviting submissions for a volume (or series, depending on numbers) on Catholic identity in context. The contexts for exploration are:
- primary and secondary education
- service, healthcare, and social ministry
- university teaching, research, and administration
The essay should be approximately 3500 words in response to this prompt:
How do you promote dialogue, formation, and critical engagement around Catholic identity in your context? Name the challenges, tensions, opportunities, and questions you encounter in your work.
Please see the full text of our call for papers here, and feel free to circulate this CFP among your networks, including colleagues and alumni of your programs. Submissions are due August 15, 2017, and authors will be informed of acceptance by mid-September. All essays will be reviewed by an editorial board prior to publication.
For more information or to submit your work, contact Erin Brigham, PhD, director of the Lane Center.
