Hermeneutics of the Other and Theologies of Difference

The second plenary from the 2019 Religious Education Association meeting held in Toronto, ON November 1-3 was entitled “Hermeneutics of the Other and Theologies of Difference,” and involved a panel discussion amongst Elie Holzer, Ochs Chair for Teaching Jewish Religious Studies and Director of the Stern Institute for the Study and Advancement of Religious Education, Bar Ilan University; Michelle Voss Roberts, Principal and Professor of Theology, Emmanuel College of Victoria University in the University of Toronto; and Deborah Kerdeman, Emeritus professor, College of Education, University of Washington.

The panel was moderated by Mehmet Hilmi Tuna, Institute for Islamic Theology and Religion, University of Innsbruck.
