The WINKS Initiative is all about using Walter Wink’s methodology to animate sacred stories and center children in congregations. We ground, equip, and connect leaders who work with children in a church context through two multi-day interactive intensives throughout the academic year. The cohort experience culminates in an incredible week-long Heal the World Summit in Lake Tahoe.
In terms of logistics and eligibility: Anyone who works with children (lay or ordained, paid or volunteer) is invited to apply and pairs from the same congregation are particularly encouraged. And, all of the travel and overnight retreats are all-expenses paid for fellows participating in the program, including the weeklong trip to Lake Tahoe in the summer.
