Memphis Theological Seminary invites applications for Assistant or Associate Professor of
Preaching and Worship starting January 1 or August 1, 2025. This is a 2-year position with the
possibility of renewal. Candidates must possess a PhD or DMin specializing in preaching and
worship. An MDiv is also preferred. Experience in the classroom, commitment to diversity and
collegiality, and ministry experience invested in the life of the church are among highly valued
attributes. Applications from all qualified candidates are welcome, especially from traditionally
under-represented populations. Candidates will teach courses in preaching and worship in the
