Congratulations to Alan Smith, Florida Southern University, and Ruth Illman from Åbo University in Finland, whose co-authored book entitled Theology and the Arts: Engaging Faith is scheduled to be published by Routledge this June! Alan and Ruth have developed a “practical theology of the arts” and their book includes seven “etudes” that analyze arts communities that engage in the kind of “pta” they describe.
