Mary Elizabeth Moore is Dean Emerita and Professor Emerita of Theology and Education, Boston University School of Theology. Her current research focuses on reshaping practical theology and religious education in relation to sacrality and tikkum olam, or repair of the world. She combines investigative research with poetry, pursuing questions in practical theology, religious education, culture and race theories, leadership, interreligious relationships, peacemaking, ecological justice, gender/sexuality, and transformational practices. Her most recent book is the co-edited Deep Understanding for Divisive Times. Her most recent articles include: “Disrupting White Privilege,” “Sacred, Revolutionary Teaching,” “Embracing Sexuality and Gender,” “The Hidden Force of Gender and Sexuality,” and “Responding to a Weeping Planet.”
