As we plan for a hybrid gathering, there are a number of challenges we are facing:
- Travel and quarantine policies for members coming to the US, some having quarantine policies of up to 21 days upon their return.
- Conference logistics, policies, and practices regarding COVID, i.e. testing, documentation of vaccination (and exemptions), health and safety practices and procedures on-site.
- Health and safety of our members, staff, and volunteers on-site.
- Hybrid conference procedures. How to properly budget and staff, and volunteers to ensure adequate tech and conference support.
With all of these challenges in mind, we are asking for your insight about the annual meeting. Your answers will help the steering committee and conference committee determine whether or not to hold an in-person meeting this summer.
