Emilie Townes’ Plenary 1 recording available

We have now placed video recordings of all of the plenary speakers from this 2015 meeting online. We will highlight each speaker in a news post here, and we encourage you to share the videos and use them in teaching.

In the opening plenary of the 2015 meeting Emilie Townes focused on the challenges of imagination in an era of deep injustice, and spoke with passion about counter memory and liberatory imagination.

Horizons book series

As we approach our annual meeting, now would be a great time to share with your colleagues the release of the latest book in our own REA Horizons book series: Sarah Tauber’s Open Minds, Devoted Hearts: Portraits of Adult Religious Educators. An easy way to do that is to point them to our REA/APPRRE bookstore at Amazon, which is featuring our Horizons series on its front page.

We have put together a list of restaurants in the area, to help you think about food options. The list comes as a pdf, with restaurants highlighted in yellow which were recommended by local friends of REA (highlighted ones are also listed on our accommodations page).
