The Yale Center for Faith & Culture is building a team of research scholars to advance an interdisciplinary project on the Theology of Joy and the Good Life. As a member of this team, the Evaluation, Field Development, and Public Engagement Research Scholar will:
- Develop, implement, and refine a measurement and evaluation model that accurately assesses the success of the project and sets a new standard for measuring and evaluating the impact of humanities research projects generally.
- Author and submit for publication scholarly articles advancing the study of measurement and evaluation of humanities research projects as drivers of intellectual change and/or communicating the effectiveness of the project as a case study.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research on the effectiveness of the field development and public engagement impact of the project.
- Interface with Center leadership to distill evaluation insights into project best practices.
The position is a 3-year faculty appointment at Yale Divinity School under the direction of Miroslav Volf, principal investigator. The Divinity School hopes to make an appointment of a junior scholar with a record of distinguished scholarship and a commitment to theological education.
The successful candidate should have a Ph.D. Possible fields include (but are not limited to):
- Sociology
- Psychology
- Network Science
- Metrics & Evaluation
- Management & Organization
Exceptional ABDs will also be considered.
