Call for Papers “Shaping the Future of Religious Education: Contributions from Early Career Researchers” of our “Zeitschrift für Pädagogik und Theologie” (De Gruyter: https://www.degruyterbrill.com/journal/key/zpt/html)
The planned special issue aims to highlight Early Career research perspectives such as:
What are the current social challenges that have led or are leading to the selection of the specific research topic? What new and innovative research approaches are being chosen to address these challenges? And what future prospects does this hold for the theory and practice of religious education?
Submission of abstracts until May 15th 2026 (for details see the attachment) from all areas of religious education and religious didactics, Catholic, Protestant, Jewish, and Islamic theology, as well as related disciplines (educational sciences, practical theology, educational research, etc.) are welcome. Submissions in English are expressly welcome and eagerly anticipated.
We would be grateful if you could draw attention to this call and bring it to the attention of early career researchers in your working context.
