This edited volume centers how Black religious, ethical, and moral traditions shape educational purpose, teaching, learning, curriculum, student formation, institutional life, and freedom-making across P–12 schools, higher education, congregations, and community learning spaces. We welcome conceptual, empirical, historical, archival, practitioner-scholar, pedagogical, and community-engaged chapters addressing Black religious traditions, African diasporic spiritualities, Islamic ethical frameworks, womanist ethics, abolition and freedom ethics, culturally sustaining pedagogy, Black teacher preparation, HBCUs, student belonging, campus religious life, and the pathways connecting P–12 and higher education.
