George W. Truett Theological Seminary at Baylor University in Waco, Texas, announces an opening for Assistant to Full Professor of Practical Theology. Candidates must hold the Ph.D. degree. They must possess ministry experience and be committed to the Baptist tradition with evidence of active involvement in the life of a congregation. They should also have a calling to educate students for ministry in practical theology and demonstrate academic credentials and a commitment to collegiality. Teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level and a record of academic publications will be highly valued.
